As I was walking this morning, I saw a Man face down in the parking lot of a church. Others walked by before me and did nothing…smh. I stopped walking and called 911. I told the operator the issue. She said she would send the police and I could continue my walk. I said ok and hung up. I took two steps and turned around. I couldn’t walk away leaving him! 🙁 I felt responsible for him. I decided to wait for the police. They came 30 minutes later. I watched as they approached him. They shook him and he stood up. These police officers handled him with care. I was glad to see that. I continued my walk. Somebody had to do something…why not me? My friends showed up afterwards.
