    Today on the stove is simmering a pot of butternut squash, yam and potato soup with loads of onion and garlic, herbed with oregano, rosemary and turmeric. Who says squash soup is only a fall/winter recipe? Nourishing my body and immune system after my week long mediation with the cold bugs that were trying their hardest to get the better of me! Grateful for my herbal and superfood knowledge to support the body's natural ability to heal. It’s in the book 😉 Super Chocolate Mocha Want the decadence of your old favourite coffeehouse chocolate mocha without the junk? This drink will hit the spot!     Created this superfood smoothie this morning for my 9 year old and I 🙂 Fresh, fruity, and floral. For all those yearning for spring (not me - I want to go skiing many more times first 😉 ). FLOWER POWER 3 frozen bananas 1/2 cup frozen raspberries 1/2" chunk fresh turmeric 1 tsp hibiscus powder 1 tsp rosehip powder 2 tsp rose petals 2 tsp fresh bee pollen 1/2 tsp vanilla bean powder 1 tsp blue pigment phycocyanin 4 squirts reishi tincture 1 scoop vegan probiotic powder 2 heaping tsp raw honey Pinch sea salt 1 cup Brazil nut cream (or your favorite raw nut milk) 1 cup chilled chaga/reishi/rosehip tea Blend until smooth.
