I am a Psychologist, writing articles for self-help. empowerment and personal transformation. Combining professional expertise with a spiritual outlook on life, my work offers new perspectives, insights, practical tips and easy strategies that can be applied straightaway. My own life had many changes - some challenging and difficult, others rewarding and uplifting.
Travels, meandering and exploring
I lived in several German cities, spent time in France as an au pair (live-in nanny), the USA as a counsellor in summer camps and travelled on public buses (with chickens and baskets of farm produce!) through Mexico. Finally a six-months overland journey through Asia.
As a qualified teacher in Germany, I worked in schools, teacher’s colleges, on the curriculum development team of the Department of Education and administered statewide IQ tests. Beginning again as a Psychologist in Australia, I established a private practice, worked as as corporate consultant, EAP (employee assistance) provider, critical incident counsellor, and facilitator of public workshops and seminars.
The third project
My broadly based professional work as well as a spiritual outlook on life led to a deep understanding of psychological pain, its impact and the complex issues of growing into your full potential.
Assisted by my faithful support team – quirky little Pixie and Bonnie, the wise old cat who gently wards off the unwanted attentions of her pesky canine housemate – I now spend my time writing and developing materials for practical self-help, personal growth and empowerment.
