My peeps asked for this class so I’m offering Intuitive Eating for Resilience: Stress Eating is Not Self Care
I’m a recovering sugar addict and junk food queen. I finally realized I was “Stress Eating.” As an empath, I felt anxious when a surge of energy came through that I didn’t know how to manage. So, I would “digest the energy” by stuffing food in my mouth.I’m so grateful I broke the anxious eating habit and learned better ways to navigate stress that tap into my inner resilience! I love the luxurious freedom around food – to take it or leave it and not be consumed by food, which I was for years.
A marker of my freedom from addiction is that, at the recent family reunion, I enjoyed my favorite Norwegian cookies – two krumkake and one rosette – and I was done. I didn’t feel deprived. I didn’t feel called to compulsively eat one of every cookie variety like I did in the past.
I invite you to tap into your body wisdom to discern what foods will benefit you at this season of the year and this cycle of your life.If you’d like to join a conversation on Intuitive Eating, you might check out the class I’m leading – Intuitive Eating for Resilience: Stress Eating is Not Self-Care. The pay-as-you-can-donation based class is available to all who would like to improve their relationship with food. Tap into your intuitive knowing and your natural state of inner wellbeing to find sustenance and nourishment.
