As a SomaVeda® Therapist we learn that Nutrition is the most important thing you can do for yourself. Brings you consistent energy through out the day. Keeps you from pain and inflammation. As well as increased mental clarity.
This picture is what I have made for myself for lunch. Vegetables I used are potatoes, Carrots, Onions, and green onions.
Potatoes(4): Boiled them, drained most of the water and left some water because the water has all the vitamins and minerals from the potatoes in the water from boiling. Then added 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Salt to taste. Then mashed potatoes.
Carrots(3): Slant slice, put on a cookie sheet. Add 1 Tbsp olive oil, 3 tsp turmeric, 1 Tbsp onion flakes, 1 Tbsp parsley, salt and pepper. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
Onions(1/3): caramelized red onions in a frying pan.
Green Onions: Cut up fresh green onions.
In the bowl I constructed mashed potatoes with the carrots on top. Then the caramelized onions with the green onions. It was amazing.
I hope you use this recipe. I had a client that really enjoyed this. Said she could keep eating the food it was so good. Enjoy your day and if you have any questions please message me.
