I am a grateful “recovered" alcoholic. I say “RECOVERED” as in from a hopeless state of mind and body. I can stay that way One Day At A Time contingent on my program of Recovery. I begin each and every day with my conversation with God as I understand Him, and always with at least ONE POSITIVE THOUGHT. That usually sets the tone for the day.

I am a wife of 37 yrs, mother of 2 grown children, ages 32 & 35, and grandmother of 2. I am a Veteran of the USAF and spent 8 years active duty between 1973-1981. The Air Force gave me the training in the telecommunications field, which I am extremely grateful for, as that led to a 31yr career in the telecommunications field, from which I am now retired.

Most of my adult life I ran from my childhood which led to many years of addiction and alcoholism. By the Grace of God, I found Recovery in December of 2012. Hence the name of my FB page and Website.

I started my Facebook page on August 30, 2013 as a means for working my 12th step which states: Having a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

I share my experience, strength, and hope with others through inspiration and guidance, in the hopes that they can find the peace and serenity I have found in living a Clean & Sober life.
