I remember many years ago when one of my beloved horses came down with a mystery infection in her leg. . . one vet said she had 3 days to live, another farrier said 3 weeks to live, and my trusted vet said not to bother helping her, declaring “You Will Never Heal This Leg Lidia, It is just Not Possible.”

We stood there in the summer heat, looking at each other, exhausted, covered in sweat and dirt and flies, and I replied “I AM GOING TO TRY”.

I had no idea at the time How, I just knew I had to TRY.
