Kathleen Boucher is a registered nurse with over 30 years experience specializing in Intensive Care of adults. In July 2013, Boucher discovered a passion for writing children’s books after taking an entrepreneurial course with the School of Online Business run by Mike Klingler.

In January 2014 A Simple Idea to Empower Kids: based on the power of love, choice and belief for kids aged 6-8 was self-published with Balboa Press. This book won awards. Though guidance she received in the form of a dream Boucher changed the cover and illustrations and self-published A Simple Idea to Empower Kids: Teen’s Edition in March 2014, with Balboa Press. This book won three awards.
