I never used to be one to try the latest diet fad and I danced with the idea of serious exercise once or twice but never really paid very much attention to my wellness at all. Over time I felt sluggish, constantly tired and overweight. I always felt like nothing in my life was going right either!
As I got older and possibly a little wiser I realized that my allergies and chronic back pain could both be managed if not eliminated just by being conscious of what I ate, putting in some exercise to move my body and taking a more holistic and overall look at how I lived my life.
I realized my negative life needed an overhaul and I had to introduce some positivity. This wasn't an overnight change, it took a good few years to really understand what my body was telling me and how to respond in a kind and gentle way. It wasn't easy either, years of negative self-talk takes a lot to shift but I have had some brilliant coaching myself which is exactly why I changed my career and became a Motivational Health Coach.
My knowledge is ever evolving after connecting with some inspiring people who have a passion for wellness. Over time I have welcomed a complete change in attitude towards general health and feel so much better for it.
