Kathleen S. McPhillips
Bio
Kathleen S. McPhillips is a Life Master Teacher, mystic, Reiki Master, certified Yoga instructor, best-selling author, multidimensional healer, and Soul Activation practitioner. With more than twenty years of teaching experience, six years of study at a traditional school of Yoga, and advanced studies and certification in India, Kathleen has devoted much of her life to exploring the connection between body, mind, spirit, and soul.
Her own journey has been shaped by life’s many transitions—physical injury, illness, loss, grief, relationships, and profound spiritual awakening. Raised in the Catholic faith, Kathleen was later drawn to the teachings of Yoga, meditation, and the wisdom traditions of the East. A powerful mystical experience deepened her understanding of the Divine and ultimately revealed what has become the foundation of her life and work: what we seek outside of ourselves already lives within.
Through private sessions, Yoga, Reiki, multidimensional healing, Soul Activation, writing, workshops, and spiritual retreats, Kathleen creates a compassionate and sacred space for others to reconnect with their own inner wisdom. Rather than offering a single path, she encourages each person to listen deeply, trust the wisdom of the soul, and discover what is true for them.
Kathleen has facilitated retreats throughout the Hudson Valley and Adirondack regions, exploring themes including manifestation, surrender, midlife awakening, self-discovery, and the inward journey. Her work invites others to move through life’s changes with greater awareness, grace, courage, and love.
She is the author of Adirondack Retreat: My Midlife Journey to Wholeness and a contributing author in The Wellness Universe Complete Guide to Self-Care: 25 Tools for Life and 25 Tools for Transformation. Most recently, Kathleen contributed the chapter “The Sacred Doorway of Grief: Finding Peace Through Physical Loss, Illness, and Aging” to The Wellness Universe Guide to Complete Self-Care: 25 Tools for Navigating Loss, Grief & Transition.
At this season of her life, Kathleen’s message is beautifully simple: the Divine is within us. Her work is an invitation to turn inward, trust what we discover there, and live with greater love, authenticity, and connection to the truth of who we are.
