Hi, I’m Colleen
Growing up in a family of all boys and later becoming a firefighter, I learned early on that strength and resilience were everything.
I worked tirelessly to build a body that could handle the demands of the job—hitting the gym, eating right, and pushing myself to be at my physical peak.
But in my 40s, everything changed. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder—something I never saw coming. How could this happen to me? I had done everything “right.” It was a wake-up call that forced me to look beyond fitness and nutrition and truly understand what it meant to be well.

The Turning Point
Determined to find answers, I went to nutrition school and uncovered a world of information about food and health I had never known before. Those lessons stabilized me and helped me to heal naturally, but something was still missing.
It wasn’t until I took my first wellness trip that everything clicked. Stepping away from work, family, and daily responsibilities allowed me to listen to my body in a way I never had before. I felt lighter, more in tune with myself, and, for the first time in years, truly well.
Why I became a wellness travel coach
That trip sparked a new passion, leading me to become a travel writer and, ultimately, a wellness travel coach.
Now, I help women over 40 who are recovering from a health crisis or looking to elevate their well-being through intentional travel. I know firsthand that wellness is about more than just diet and exercise—it’s about the whole body, mind, and spirit.
Whether my clients seek transformative trips, guided wellness coaching, or a combination of both, I create experiences that allow them to reset, heal, and reconnect with themselves. Because true well-being isn’t just about what you eat or how often you work out—it’s about the spaces you create for yourself to rest, reflect, and grow.
