When Shari Peterson was bumped from her assigned airline seat to seat 13F, she couldn’t know this seat change had just saved her life !
She was a passenger on the ill-fated United Flight 811 in 1989 that took off from Hawaii headed for Australia. Traveling four miles above the Pacific Ocean, the jumbo jet’s cargo door was ripped from its hinges, creating an enormous breach in the right side of the aircraft. Facing certain death, terrified passengers and crew were now at the mercy of the deadly incoming hurricane-force wind, ear-shattering noise, and bitterly cold night air.We want to share this awe-inspiring story of SURVIVAL… because it is also a story of MIRACLES and TRANSFORMATION.
IFGT Director, Carolyn Mulkerrin, will interview author Shari Peterson discussing her survival of such a harrowing experience, and also how it led her on a path of personal and spiritual transformation.
