Providing hands-on therapeutic bodywork is my passion. The simple act of touching someone can evoke relaxation, trigger release of melatonin, lower blood pressure and slow the heart beat. Structural changes resulting from muscular release can initiate better posture, a more correct gait and lessen pain and discomfort.
Emotionally, my table is a safe place for release of childhood trauma, depression, and more. If you have experienced sexual abuse, please let me know in advance so that we can ensure your comfort and trust as many avoid touch-based therapies due to potential triggers. This information will not be shared. I have attended training for trauma-informed care and collaborate with counselors and psychiatrists.
Because of my own health as well as the special needs of my son, I delved into the world of nutrition and learned about the wide variety of opinions, politics and options. Much of what I have learned targets the needs of children, and specifically around nutrition and Autism. Understanding the impact that nutrition has on our bodies has created a new passion for me, particularly around those who have been diagnosed with chronic illnesses such as Diabetes and Cancer. Supporting clients in their healthy lifestyle goals and providing bodywork services to help them achieve those goals is at the core of my practice. It is my personal belief that to accomplish this you need your service provider to be part of your personal health team. For this reason I encourage you to give me a call. Let’s talk and see if my services align with your needs.

I created this 501c3 in my son's name to help families of special needs children through advocacy, education and support. Today they support a number of counties in WA State and are growing. My hope is that is reaches nationwide status.
