Teri strongly believes that hope is an essential element in managing any disease as it impacts the attitudes with which patients approach treatment and give them strengh to persevere while exploring treatment options. She works to convey this philosophy of hope:
To live well with Migraine disease, we must choose to life a "glass-half-full" life and always, always, hold on to HOPE.
She also strongly believes that:
Optimal health care can be achieved only when patients are educated about their health, and patients and physicians work together as treatment partners in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
