Bio

Life is a journey, and obstacles are meant to be jumped! Selina Uglow, LPN, CPT, with over twenty-five years of coaching and leadership experience combined with her education offers guidance to individuals who are interested in becoming the best version of themselves.   

Selina has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management & Wellness from California University of Pennsylvania.  She has continued her education with a Natural Wellness Certificate for Nurses at Clayton College and attends ongoing CME courses related to Lifestyle & Functional Medicine.  She is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Pennsylvania and a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). 

As a Cancer Survivor, Single Mother and once having been 248#, Selina knows the value of presenting your best self in the face of many obstacles.  She has risen to management professionally by fostering team leadership concepts, developing time management policies and being the example to inspire others to reach their maximum potential.  She utilizes all of this experience to help others in her position as a business owner of The WAY to Healthy Living and Partner with her husband Dave in The Empowerment Resource Center. 

 

Selina leads workshops on self-improvement, simple lifestyle approaches to wellness and leadership.  She offers individuals various opportunities to quickly gain ground in their health journey through personalized instruction, coaching and programming.  She also conducts workplace wellness program.
