From Suffering to Soulshine

I was originally working in the medical field, loving my chosen career, when a sudden tragedy in 2005, thrust me into the spotlight, and forever changed my life.

The horrific murder of my 16 year old son.

Turning this tragedy into something positive, I co-founded Families Against Crime and Trauma (F.A.C.T.), a crime victims advocacy group. I spent years lobbying the government for justice reform and working on behalf of victims. As a result of the countless media interviews, I became quite skilled in this area, so I used this skill to negotiate with members of Parliament. To keep me centered, and to remember every, single important minute, I journaled. These journals went on to become two best selling books, titled “The Last Six Minutes,” and “Cry for Justice.” My second book won the Top Ten of 2010 in the Reader’s Choice Award by True Crime Book Reviews. After serving as Executive Director of F.A.C.T. for 5 years, I made the difficult decision to step back from public advocacy work, and became an Assistant Editor for SAW Media Inc., a women’s magazine publisher. I guess you could say I'm a 'Mompreneur' in the truest sense. I love working from home, I get to be with my family while developingmy networking skills.

I started as an owner of a small boutique bakery, then launched into the multi level marketing field, when I joined Jeunesse Global, back in 2014. I am very proud to say, that I quickly climbed the ranks and have established a very successful international sales team, proving to myself, and sharing with others, that a mom can run a household and be a top notch sales executive simultaneously.

I live a very authentic and full life, I am drawn to support, and stand fully behind the people, products, and industries that promote positive change and overall wellness and well-being.
