Bio

Our Founder’s Story (Glad You Made It This Far!)
”Whether Working In Adult Education, Human Services Or As Rehabilitation Therapist With The Government, I Have Always Enjoyed Helping People Achieve Better Health & Wellness. In My Spare Time, I Dabble In Almost Every Creative Art, Still Pick Up A Book Now And Then And Admit To Being A Trekkie… (Don’t Let That Scare You. I Like Star Wars Too!) Many Years Ago, I Took A Chance To Learn About Pedorthics, Returning To University To Enable People With Specific Foot Or Leg Issues To Live And Move With Less Pain, Better Balance And More Piece Of Mind During Work Or Play. At Foster Shoes, I Did Most Assessments, Made The Complex Orthotics, Did Shoe Mods & Trained Technicians. After Working As A Certified Pedorthist (Canada) For Years, In 2015 “Ashfield Orthotics: A Foot Health Clinic” Was Created To Make Things Better, In A More Clinical Space. As A Person With A Physical Disability Who Values Mobility, I Appreciate The Abilities Of All People. Our Space Is Fully Accessible, With Hours Set According To Your Schedule. We Offer Evening & Weekend Hours. We Know Many People Don’t Work M-F, 9-5. Helping You Enjoy Your Feet & Move Better With Less Pain Is Our Sole Responsibility. See You Soon!” Rodney Ashfield, BA, Cert. Rehab.Certified Pedorthic Technician Certified Pedorthist (Canada)
