Prior stepping into the role of an advocate for wellbeing and self-realization, my life was that of a pilgrim type. It took me from one continent to another; from Russia to America. But prior to becoming an immigrant, I fell in love with dancing.
At the age of 6, I started dancing. I traveled throughout Russia performing and winning. Dance focus was lyrical, jazz, modern, thematic and a bit of Russian folk.
In 1993, a non-profit organization, invited my dance group to perform in the US. After 3 months of touring, I stayed in the US to continue my dance career. After 14 years of dancing, I decided it was time to utilize more of my left-brain. In 2002, I received an Undergrad in International Business and in 2009, a Masters in International Commerce and Policy. I worked successfully for 15 years in a Hospitality Industry for large corporations such as Interstate Hotels and Resorts, Marriott International Headquarters and Interior Design companies on both coasts.
At 33 years of age, doctors discovered that both of my hips would require surgery to re-attach the labral tissue that was torn by excessive high kicks and splits. Surgery was not an option I wished to pursue so I started looking for alternative ways to improve my body’s condition. This is when I discovered the ‘Body-Mind-Heart’ Formula and BEAM: Body Energy Awareness & Movement, was born. Since then I have been working on developing BEAM and its content.
Over the past 15 years, I have been re-awakening to my true-self and power of body, mind and heart by recognizing the voice of my ego, reconnecting with stillness, and addressing my emotions. I have studied utilizing Qi-energy, practicing meditation, yoga, qigong and ancient Eastern philosophies while attending classes and workshops.
In June of 2017, at the age of 40, I quit the Hospitality Industry and gave my full attention to BEAM. I have combined years of research, knowledge, practice and wisdom together to create unique classes, packages and workshops that target body, mind and emotions so they can function harmoniously together.
