Mary Schaefer
Bio
I'm a human being who happens to be a speaker, trainer, consultant, and coach, committed to bringing more humanity to the workplace. It's time.
I advocate for work cultures where organizations and the human beings who happen to be employees can both thrive.
I describe myself as a fierce idealist. I'm also a farmer's daughter born in Southern Indiana, USA. I was a Fortune 100 company employee, concluding my corporate career in the role of HR Manager. I hold a Master's in HR and spoke at TEDx Wilmington on the topic of Putting the Human Back In Human Resources.
I love gapingvoid art and writing, am an employment law geek, and can parallel park from either side of the street. I confess to being a sucker for cute little animals and support those who are grieving pets having developed a line of sympathy cards exclusively for pet lovers.
