Coaching you to connect with your GPS, find your voice and re-author your life

For the past 40 years, I have worked both in Australia and America as a psychotherapist, writer, speaker, and educator. My mission is to help you connect with your inner GPS and find your voice to re-author an empowered life. I believe no one is broken. The only thing that is wrong is what we've been taught to think and believe about ourselves that stop us from being our true selves. Therefore, I empower individuals to become a hero or heroine to face adversity, overcome anxiety, transform their life, and find healthy relationships.

As an award-winning author, my books include The Roadmap Home: Your GPS to Inner Peace, an Amazon bestseller in 2009, as well as the lighthearted satires on psychotherapy, Cuckoo Forevermore and Kookaburra’s Last Laugh (which won a silver IPPY award in 2017). I am the co-author, along with Mari Frank, of Fighting for Love: Turn Conflict into Intimacy.

Since I am both a therapist and a writer, I help you become aware of yourself as the main character in your novel. Together, we identify the script handed down by caregivers and work toward altering scripts, changing relationships, and creating healthy, empowered stories.

I am a speaker and workshop presenter and maintain a counseling and coaching practice in Orange County, CA. I am also the proud father of two adult children.

My recent TEDx talk, "In the Age of Superheroes, Where Are the Fathers" is now on the TED website.
