    CONFESSIONS OF A RECOVERING CHAMELEON

We all learn to people please on some level.

I’ve learned that becoming a chameleon to avoid losing connection with some one or some situation is a form of co-dependency.

Point is, don’t feel bad or beat yourself up about it because this is how we’ve been trained and conditioned to show up with others.

    For now, NOTICE. Get curious.

Why might you be fearful of losing the client, friend or loved one so much that you temporarily alter yourself to match your surroundings? To become what you think they want you to be (and is what you think they want you to be even true)?

The client who hires you for Truth may not always like it when you deliver it. They may get angry or want to take a time out from working with you. They may lean in and tell you EXACTLY how they feel about you and what has been revealed . . . and that may make YOU feel uncomfortable.

The people you are here to guide, support and co-create with are not here to be chameleons with you either. Even when you ruffle their feathers, they will come back. They will value the experience. They will appreciate you for hearing, receiving and taking a stand for them, even if they need a hot second to process it.

Same for the people outside your business who truly matter to you, and you to them.

How has being in chameleon energy impacted your business and/or personal relationships? chameleon
