Diane Buccola

She who argues for her limitations gets to keep them.

Diane Buccola has been a licensed Esthetician in the state of California since 1999; in 2008, she attained the advanced credential of NCEA Certified Esthetician. Throughout these many years, Diane has had great success as a Spa Consultant, Spa Owner, Solo Esthetician, Speaker and Author. Her books include The Heart of Esthetics: Creating Loyal Clients and Achieving Financial Success and Estheticians are a Girl's Best Friend.

In September 2017, Diane launched an online course, The Heart of Esthetics, based upon her book by the same name. This updated 5-hour course teaches estheticians, spa owners and spa managers how to set up their esthetics business for financial success.

In 2017, after many years of watching women struggle with their self-esteem based upon society's limited definition of "beauty," Diane was compelled to write her latest book, Notes from Your Fairy Godmother: Ideas, Inspiration & Joy for Women.  It is this book that brought Diane to The Wellness Universe, with a goal to share her wisdom and insight and bring happiness and inner peace to women everywhere.

Diane is a member of Les Nouvelles Esthetiques & Spa Magazine's Technical Advisory Board and is a well-respected author for spa trade publications. She regularly serves as a speaker at the International Congress of Esthetics & Spa throughout the USA and in 2016, she served as Master of Ceremonies at the International Congress of Esthetics & Spa, Long Beach CA.

While Diane remains a prominent figure in the world of Esthetics and Spa, after almost 2 decades in that field, she has developed a keen sense regarding what women deal with on a daily basis related to their endless (and often dangerous) pursuit of external beauty. Her book Notes from Your Fairy Godmother was written to provide relief to women of today who are bombarded with society's messages which attempt to attack our self-image and make us believe that we are not enough.

You had the power all along, my dear.
