    My relationship with fitness

My fitness and health have forever been important to me but at 51-years old it looks different than it did in my twenties.

    _____

Remember I told you how I hadn’t worked out consistently for three months? It may have been more like four or five! Uhg

    Can you relate?

My fitness and health have forever been important to me but at 51-years old it looks different than it did in my 20s, 30s and 40s.

It’s less about how I look and more about the reality of the importance of maintaining my health so I can be around for as long as possible, feeling as great as possible, doing all the things with my beautiful family that I want to do.

So, 2 weeks ago I started a spin class with my son’s beautiful girlfriend, Olivia and so far, I love it!

Tons of research shows that we are over 80% more likely to stick with it when we have a partner for accountability. Not that Olivia needs it–but I sure appreciate her!

“According to research, the two factors that effectively help people achieve the behavior change they desire are incentives and accountability.”
