Kelly is a wellness coach, writer/blogger, mother, wife, and yoga instructor who seeks to bring the ancient practices of yoga & meditation into the workplace. Bija Initiative is a group of former corporate employees turned yoginis whose mission is to break the cycle of stress. Kelly holds a BA in Communications from Desales University and started her career in writing and public relations more than 15 years ago. In 2003, she completed a 200+ hour yoga teacher training and left hospital PR work to become a freelance writer and yoga instructor. In 2008, she started a family and returned to her love of ballet. To deepen her practice in the ancient traditions of yoga, Kelly adopted a daily meditation practice and studies ancient yogic texts at the Arsha Vidya Gurukulum in the Pocono Mountains.
